Articulate is hiring a Publicist / Media Specialist to work across luxury Spirits clients, spearheading all new press, announcements and ongoing media relations.
Responsibilities
Lead press programs across existing and upcoming brand initiatives including but not limited to:
New product launch
Partnership initiatives
Events
Press program elements to include:
Creation of media plans / strategy
Draft and edit key messaging and communications materials (press releases, pitches, briefing documents etc.)
Press KPI discussions / alignment with team
Secure top tier exclusive and hero feature coverage
Work with junior members of team to delegate supporting coverage, briefing materials and media list building
Have oversight on and stay close to all brand press KPIS ensuring the team is on track to complete / exceed
Lead on outreach for celebrity partners and/or ambassadors including:
Partnership announcements
Press interviews, post-event outreach
Evergreen partnership support
Manage communications with each external press team involved aligning on outlets, messaging, approvals etc
Act as internal + external POC for all press questions and support including client facing queries
Keep up to date and ahead of trends when it comes to media landscape - research trends, upcoming writers, new outlets, industry news and share findings with team
Grow network and maintain extremely strong media relationships
Join weekly / bi-weekly internal and client facing meetings, as relevant to press initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years PR experience, working in Wine, Spirits and/or Hospitality
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and keen attention to detail
Strong interest in and understanding of news and US National and Global media landscape
Strong existing relationships with key media across Spirits, Trade, Entertainment and Lifestyle
Strong verbal and written communication skills
