A company located in Fountain Inn is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team.
Monday-Friday
7am-5pm
Starting at $68k-70k a year.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of automotive projects in accordance with client requirements, budget constraints, and timeline objectives
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement teams, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and regularly monitor progress against established milestones and KPIs
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, ensuring that potential roadblocks are addressed in a timely and effective manner
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations
Work closely with account managers and give feedback on any ECN changes and related cost changes of projects to account manager timely
Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate performance, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification in project management preferred
Proven track record of successfully managing automotive projects from concept development through production launch
Strong understanding of automotive industry standards, processes, and best practices, with knowledge of relevant technologies and manufacturing processes such as APQP, PPAP, ITAF16969
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget
Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or similar applications
Flexibility to travel as needed to client sites, supplier facilities, and other project-related locations
