All about the role:


Are you a passionate product leader ready to dive into the world of Room Air?

Look no further than this role as the Product Line Manager – Room Air at Electrolux Major Appliances. We are on the hunt for an individual who can navigate the dynamic landscape of two Room Aire categories, driving both strategic growth and operational excellence. This role will lead two key categories- Portable Air Conditioners and Air Purifiers.


As the Product Line Manager – Room Air, you will be at the forefront of transforming our product offerings. Your visionary leadership will drive product line management, shape business strategies, and orchestrate seamless business execution. With a focus on both present and future, you will chart the course for a five-year Product Road Map, identifying innovative products and features and developing go-to-market strategies to advance business efforts in these categories.


What you’ll do:


  • Lead ongoing development and maintenance of a five year product roadmap based on consumer insights, competitive landscape, technology roadmap, customer requirements, and sound business management principles.
  • You will help to ensure that new product launches have business cases that contribute to the business strategy, are delivered to the marketplace on time, and at the cost targets in the product plan. You will also ensure that proper plans are in place and being executed for phase in of new product and phasing out of old product.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Room Air products, supporting team with insight for marketing and training materials.
  • Product line lead for annual product line reviews with sales channels through customer presentation, coordination of product sample delivery, and completion of all required specification and pricing templates.
  • You will participate proactively with other members of the CDI/Wellbeing management team in developing and executing strategic and annual plans to optimize the market and financial performance of the Room Air category.
  • You will work closely with the commercial/merchandising team and sales channel teams to establish and drive product placement, pricing, and promotional strategies and actions to deliver on project business cases and business KPI’s.
  • Partner with Global Product Innovation to influence innovation in alignment with NA consumer requirements.


Qualifications required:


  • A four-year college degree, or equivalent experience, is required. MBA Preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years related experience in consumer goods, product line management, marketing, or sales.
  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge of consumer product development, business case creation, financial analysis, merchandising, sales, and marketing.
  • Demonstrated track record of influencing priorities and motivating cross-functional partners for support.
