Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical design engineering activities required to develop competitive products.
• Design 3D CAD models of parts and assemblies in collaboration with the product development team.
• Create engineering drawings according to Schaeffler and international standards.
• Perform tolerance stack-ups to determine proper GD&T callouts on drawings.
• Check whether existing subsystems and components can be reused.
• Ensure double-sided traceability with the mechanical architecture and provide work results under a configuration management (material designation, versioning, storage location, etc.).
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but other engineering degrees or equivalent technical experience will be considered.
• Expertise in CAD modeling (PTC Creo preferred)
• Significant experience with engineering drawing creation and GD&T
• Automotive knowledge or background preferred
• Experience in Chassis technologies, either steering, brake or suspension
