Amotec is conducting a search for a Process Engineer! Our client, one of the largest building materials manufacturers in the country, is looking to bring in Process Engineer who will be responsible for the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes throughout their facility to improve product quality and overall productivity. This opportunity offers a competitive base salary, bonus, and benefits. Relocation assistance would be provided for this role.
Process Engineer Responsibilities:
Process improvement using data to identify shortcomings and to create new training, methods, and equipment
Project management and support for projects within the plant such as the introduction of new technology and cost reduction methods
Oversite of production processes through the writing, revision, and development of process specifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field required (Chemical Engineering degree preferred)
Minimum of 2+ years of Process Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience with polymers (thermoplastics compounds), extrusion processes, and web handling
