We are seeking a dynamic Private Events Coordinator to join our restaurant group in Los Angeles, overseeing private event coordination for two restaurants- Damian, a fine-dining Mexican restaurant in DTLA, and ATLA, a casual Mexican restaurant in Venice. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our private event revenues while ensuring impeccable service and attention to detail. As the primary liaison between clients, management teams, and operations, you will coordinate private events in order to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests.
This position is a part-time hourly role, 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
Promptly respond to event leads, converting inquiries into bookings within designated times
Utilize company Event Management software (Tripleseat) to communicate with prospective leads, track performance, and maintain settings and templates
Maintain customer service standards, providing direct contact and communication with current and prospective clients
Conduct sales activities, including emails, phone calls, and walk-throughs, to facilitate bookings
Coordinate scheduling of events across multiple locations, ensuring seamless logistics with the restaurant operations team, ensuring clear communication of event details
Conduct regular reporting on event performance and sales figures as required
Complete monthly outreach initiatives as determined by leadership
Meet or exceed established sales goals set by the leadership team
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a sales role that required hitting or exceeding sales targets based on inbound and outbound leads
Exceptional customer service mentality with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in-person in both restaurants when there is an event or a walk-through
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects efficiently
Strong organizational skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets)
Experience in the events sales and hospitality industry is a plus
