Private Equity Vice President

Tenfold has partnered with a growing technology middle-market private equity firm in Los Angeles and is looking for an experienced Vice President to join its team.

The Vice President will be critical in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in high-growth technology companies. This individual will be responsible for leading deal execution, managing portfolio companies, and supporting the fund's overall strategy.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience leading the execution of buy-outs or growth equity investments focusing on technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Deal Sourcing and Origination:

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the technology sector.
• Develop relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, investment bankers, and key market participants.
• Attend industry conferences and networking events to generate deal flow.

Due Diligence and Deal Execution:

• Lead and manage the due diligence process, including financial analysis, market research, competitive analysis, and operational due diligence.
• Develop and present investment theses and recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Negotiate and structure investment terms, working closely with legal and financial advisors.

Portfolio Management:

• Monitor and support portfolio companies, providing strategic and operational guidance.
• Assist in the development and execution of value-creation plans.
• Serve on the boards of portfolio companies as needed.
• Track and report on portfolio company performance, including financial and operational metrics.

Fundraising and Investor Relations:

• Support fundraising efforts by preparing marketing materials and participating in investor meetings.
• Maintain relationships with existing investors and provide regular updates on fund performance and portfolio company developments.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. *For those with an MBA, investment banking or PE experience is required prior to completing your MBA.

Experience:

• 5-7 years in financial services with 3-5 years of recent private equity experience focusing on technology sectors.
• Proven track record of sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments.
• Experience in managing and supporting associate staff.
