Postdoctoral Researcher

Postdoctoral Position in Optical Imaging: Are you ready to take your expertise in optical imaging and/or photoacoustic imaging to the next level? The Jan Grimm Lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) is looking for a talented postdoctoral fellow with specialized experience in optical engineering / optical imaging, including Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) technology and optoacoustic imaging. A background in bioengineering, optical imaging and/or image analysis IS REQUIRED for this position.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art imaging equipment, contribute to groundbreaking and translational research projects, and collaborate with a team of experts in the field. Your proficiency in utilizing photoacoustic scanners and cameras, particularly in the SWIR range, will be instrumental in advancing our understanding of cancer imaging and developing innovative imaging techniques.

Key qualifications include:

• Hands-on experience with photoacoustic scanners and/or cameras for optical imaging, with a focus on SWIR technology
• Strong background in bioengineering and its applications in the field of medical imaging
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation with some programming skills
