Summary
Under the general direction of the Sous Chef and Culinary Director, the Porter is responsible for performing all daily tasks associated with dishwashing duties for cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting, and readying our dishes and glassware according to our standards, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications For Success
1+ year prior experience in similar dishwashing / cleaning position
Must be highly trustworthy, responsible, and reliable
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
While performing the duties of the job, the Porter is required to stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach with hands and arms, handle or feel objects and tools
Good listening and communication skills
Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Ability to speak basic English preferred
Perform duties and exhibit behavior in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
