Piping Designer

Job Duties:

• Develop and prepare detailed piping designs and layouts in compliance with standards and specifications.
• Create isometric drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and general arrangement drawings.
• Plan pipe routes and layouts based on the process and equipment locations.
• Ensure designs adhere to relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations such as ASME, API, and ANSI.
• Specify materials, piping components, and valves suitable for applications, considering temperature, pressure, and chemical compatibility.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in design and drafting in a processing or chemical setting.
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2023
• Experience with 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, CADWorx, etc. would be preferred but isn’t a requirement for this role.
