Company Name is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pipe Stress Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in Pipe Stress Engineering and be familiar with industry standards and codes such as ASME, B31.1, and B31.3. The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze and design piping systems for a variety of projects. The successful candidate will also have experience with AutoPIPE, Caesar II, and other relevant software programs.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and design piping systems for various projects using industry standards and codes
Perform pipe stress analysis using software such as AutoPIPE, Caesar II, and PIPESTRESS
Collaborate with other engineers and designers to ensure designs meet project requirements
Review and approve piping design drawings and calculations
Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
Participate in project meetings and communicate progress and concerns to project managers
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum of X years of experience as a Pipe Stress Engineer
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Extensive knowledge of ASME, B31.1, and B31.3 codes
Experience with software programs such as AutoPIPE, Caesar II, and PIPESTRESS
Familiarity with AutoCAD, CADmep, and SE License is a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
