This is an excellent opportunity for a Patent Attorney (associate, partner track) or Patent Agent within a booming practice.

This opportunity will primarily relate to the preparation and prosecution of patents, patent opinions, patent portfolio strategy, due diligence. There will also be the possibilty of other intellectual property work, such as PTAB issues. licensing, and even trademarks. Here, you will enjoy technically challenging work for an impressive client list. You will also encounter a diverse array of hardware and software applications (industrial and consumer electronics, analog and digital circuits, chip architecture, wireless telecommunications, enterprise applications, network security, network protocols, databases, web and cloud services, operating systems, software user interfaces, open source, etc.). Client assignment and workload will be dependent upon your technical expertise (i.e., software vs. hardware, etc.).

Attorney Requirements:

• Minimum BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or Computer Science
• Preferably a graduate degree and/or prior engineering experience
• JD, state bar, USPTO bar
• Must have at least 1 year of full time claim drafting and patent prosecution experience.
  
  

Agent Requirements:

• Minimum MS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or Computer Science
• Preferably a graduate degree and/or prior engineering experience
• USPTO license is absolutely required
• Must have at least 3 years of full time claim drafting and patent prosecution experience..
