Packaging Graphic Designer

Case-Mate is seeking a talented Packaging Graphic Designer to join our packaging team. This role includes packaging development, design and preparing production artwork. Case-Mate is a fast-paced, nimble and entrepreneurial company with huge growth potential. Working here you will have the unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of packaging projects across many different product categories, brands and a variety of brand licenses.

This is a full-time in-office role (not hybrid or remote), located at our Sandy Springs-based headquarters.

Responsibilities include:

• Ability to conceptualize, design and execute unique, fashion-forward packaging for our branded products
• Create innovative and impactful retail and e-commerce packaging solutions that inspire consumer purchase decisions
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits
• Strong command of visual design capabilities, including composition, layout, information hierarchy, typography, and color judgment
• Develop and maintain packaging files to ensure their compliance with brand standards and make necessary revisions to packaging artwork
• Produce factory ready, final print files for production
• Ability to follow brand style guides
• Strong design, verbal, organizational, and time management skills
• Work under strict and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual with a positive attitude.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Related Field
• 3+ years’ experience with a background in packaging design with a strong understanding of brand/graphic design and packaging production
• Portfolio submission of work as primary designer showcasing ability to conceptualize, design and execute current packaging (folding cartons, blister cards, etc.) required with application
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for Mac – Illustrator & Photoshop required
• Experience with 3D programs such as Keyshot, Blender, Substance 3D and Product Photography is a plus
• Familiarity with licensing brands and following brand guidelines a plus
• Possess exceptional time management skills; ability to think under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
