Job Title: Packaging Engineer

Location: Blue Ash, OH

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Engineer for a long-term contract in Blue Ash, OH. You will join our engineering team, collaborating closely with New Product Development and Lifecycle teams to develop innovative packaging systems for the Medical Device industry. This role requires hands-on involvement in package testing and simulation, technical writing, and component drawing creation.

Responsibilities

  • Packaging System Development: Design and develop packaging systems to meet client requirements.
  • Collaboration: Partner with New Product Development and Lifecycle teams to ensure seamless integration of packaging solutions.
  • Engineering Design Changes: Lead and support changes in packaging design and documentation.
  • Laboratory Testing: Conduct hands-on testing and simulate transportation distribution strategies in the package laboratory.
  • Technical Writing: Write technical documents, create component drawings, and develop specifications.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in packaging engineering.
  • Proven experience with ISO 11607, 13485, or 15223 standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD for technical writing and component drawing.
  • Ability to work independently, managing projects from concept to completion.

Work Environment

  • On-site presence required 3 days a week.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
