Position Overview

FreezPak Logistics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Brokerage and Sales Operations Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in the logistics industry, specifically focusing on brokerage operations and sales support. The intern will work closely with our brokerage and sales teams to gain valuable insights into the processes involved in coordinating shipments, managing client relationships, and supporting sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the coordination of freight shipments, including scheduling pickups, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise during transit.

Support brokerage operations by conducting market research, analyzing carrier rates, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Collaborate with the sales team to prepare proposals, presentations, and sales materials for client meetings and pitches.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client communications, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system.

Participate in meetings and training sessions to learn about industry trends, best practices, and company procedures.

Provide administrative support as needed, including organizing documents, filing paperwork, and completing other tasks to assist the brokerage and sales teams.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a degree program in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Prior experience in logistics or sales is preferred but not required.
