Position Overview
The Operations Analyst will play a key role in driving efficiencies of the Operations team and will lead day-to-day trading position review. The analyst will report to the Head of Operations and is part of a dynamic team that works closely with the investment team, back-office internal stakeholders, and external counter parties.

Position Overview
The Operations Analyst will play a key role in driving efficiencies of the Operations team and will lead day-to-day trading position review. The analyst will report to the Head of Operations and is part of a dynamic team that works closely with the investment team, back-office internal stakeholders, and external counter parties.
Responsibilities
- Review and determine resolutions to activity, holdings and cash reconciliations; working with the trading desk, external counterparties, and administrators through completion
- Work with external counterparties to settle trades from the point of booking through to settlement for global equities, bonds, futures, options, and FX on both cash and swap
- Work with desk and counterparties for any maturing securities, including, but not limited to futures, government bills
- Processing and working with the desk for listed derivative expiration and any associated events affecting the contract
- Monitor and work with the desk for both voluntary and mandatory corporate action events
- Communicate and effect any ad-hoc requests internally or externally
- Implement and adhere to “best practice” procedures
- 2-3 years of working with security settlement and reconciliation
- Ideal candidate will have specialist experience in futures reconciliation & settlements
- Good understanding of how domestic (USA) & global equities, bond trading and settlement at a custodian or prime broker differs considered a benefit
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting with a strong academic performance record
- Proficient with Bloomberg and Microsoft office applications (with emphasis and advanced skills in MS Excel)
- An aptitude for solving problems, intellectual curiosity, strong quantitative skills and a willingness to immerse oneself in trade and security data
- Optimistic attitude with willingness to contribute however and wherever possible or required. Seeks out an environment with the potential to rapidly assume additional challenges and responsibilities.
- Motivated self-starter, highly organized and committed to accuracy and quality of work product
