Operations Analyst

The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

This is full-time Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, in Aventura, FL - NO REMOTE OPTIONS AVAILABLE

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Financial Operations system used for budgeting/forecasting & reporting
• Assist with end of month financial close variance review (forecast vs. actual), as well as financial and operational metric reporting
• Assist with the preparation of presentations of financial & operational business results
• Collaborating with peers to perform ad-hoc analysis and innovate upon existing strategies utilizing independent judgement
• Assist in driving standardization, and automation of all management reporting
• Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
• Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses, studying proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Increases Finance team productivity by developing automated accounting applications, coordinating information requirements.
• Assistance with month end close process, as needed
• Other financial and operational analysis and duties as needed
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Finance or other STEM field required, MBA or other Master’s degree preferred
• Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends
• Develop BI tools to support financial and operational KPI reporting
• Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data
• Maintain knowledge of financial tools, technical skills, and industry trends

• Financial Analysis (KPI Reporting, Operational, and Sales)
• Reporting Research Results and Analysis
• BI Tools (Google Data Studio / Looker / Domo), Project Management
• SQL and database management knowledge highly desirable
• Advanced level knowledge of Google Suite, GSheets, Excel. Spreadhseet skills with particular focus on analytics and reporting through the use of advanced features (Pivot Tables, PowerPivot, VBA, Arrays, Lookups, etc)
