Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls, direct phone calls to appropriate staff or to the voice mail system. Ask questions of callers to make sure they are directed to the appropriate department
  • Welcome all clients and guests to the Firm. Make sure clients are made comfortable, hang coats in the coat closet, escort them to the appropriate conference room if their meeting is already underway, or offer and provide refreshments if they are waiting. Immediately notifies the Firm representative, announcing the client by name.
  • Day-to-day management of vendors, including building management
  • Assist office management functions of ordering supplies, making sure office environment is clean and professional, organizing internal client meetings, and assisting with any other needs that arise.
  • Assist with onboarding for new hires/contractors
  • Collect and sort all incoming mail and assist employees with outbound mail requests
  • Ability to perform all duties with minimal supervision and must be willing to work as a team player

Requirements

  • Strong interest in administration, operational management & process improvement
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration
  • An individual who can handle a variety of constituencies, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment with multiple priorities
  • Perform ad hoc administrative work and projects as needed

  • In New York and California the base salary is between $50,000 - $52,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level. L.E.K. also offers a performance bonus, profit sharing and other benefits.
