Position Overview:
We are looking for an Office Engineer to provide technical and administrative support for our civil construction projects. The Office Engineer will work closely with project managers, field engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that project documentation, communications, and processes are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes.
· Manage project correspondence, communications, and documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
· Coordinate with project managers, field engineers, and subcontractors to track project progress, milestones, and deliverables.
· Maintain project files, records, and databases, and ensure that all documentation is organized and accessible to project team members.
· Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify discrepancies, conflicts, or potential issues.
· Support the resolution of technical issues, conflicts, and challenges that arise during construction.
· Provide administrative support to the project team.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
· 1-3 years of experience in civil construction or related office engineering role.
· Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and construction methods.
· Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to review and analyze technical documents and specifications.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
· Familiarity with construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.
