Proactively identify, engage, and convert medium to high-potential clients into lucrative long-term customers for the company, while also winning back key accounts that have churned.


Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and converting high-quality accounts to achieve five POs. Your primary focus will be on researching potential clients, developing strategic approaches to reach them, and converting and nurturing these relationships to ensure successful onboarding and continued growth.


Responsibilities New Business Account Executive:

  • Proactively search for and identify potential quality accounts through various channels, including market research, networking, and cold outreach within the floral industry.
  • Initiate contact with prospective clients through all available channels, including phone calls, emails, social media outreach, networking events, and industry conferences, to attract and convert accounts.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand potential clients' requirements and tailor each pitch to meet their needs.
  • Effectively communicate the value and benefits of iBuyFlowers, highlighting quality, variety, pricing, and delivery reliability.
  • Guide clients through the sales process, addressing concerns or objections and encouraging them to convert into an account. Utilize Demodesk to aid in this process.
  • Achieve weekly conversion targets and consistently convert accounts into long-term, lucrative customers.
  • Collaborate with the account management team to seamlessly transition newly onboarded clients, providing them with all necessary information and ensuring a smooth handoff process.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and CRM teams to enhance lead quality and streamline the onboarding process.


Qualifications:


  • Experience: Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the floral industry or a related field.
  • Prospecting Skills: Strong ability to proactively search for and identify potential quality accounts through various channels, including market research, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage prospective clients through phone calls, emails, social media outreach, and in-person at networking events and industry conferences.
  • Needs Assessment: Skilled in conducting thorough needs assessments to understand potential clients' requirements and tailoring pitches to meet their specific needs.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of iBuyFlowers' offerings, including quality, variety, pricing, and delivery reliability, and the ability to communicate these benefits effectively.
  • Sales Process Management: Experience in guiding clients through the sales process, addressing concerns or objections, and encouraging them to convert into an account, utilizing tools like Demodesk to aid in the process.
  • Target Achievement: Demonstrated success in achieving weekly conversion targets and consistently converting accounts into long-term, lucrative customers.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to collaborate with the account management team to seamlessly transition newly onboarded clients, providing them with all necessary information and ensuring a smooth handoff process.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working with marketing and CRM teams to enhance lead quality and streamline the onboarding process.
  • Results-Oriented: Strong focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
