The selected candidate will be a Network Engineer for a brand-new enterprise WAN solution: DarkStar! The candidate will be responsible for the successful implementation, integration and support of a multi-site classified network with a variety of different locations and vendor hardware. Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include but are not limited to configuration and management of Cisco switches and routers, Juniper and Palo Alto FW and support to system administration team in deployment of new sites. Knowledge and familiarity with Storage Hardware and System configuration is desired.
This individual will be working in an environment supporting a large number of different platforms which range from enterprise servers to small/midsize servers and supercomputers. Candidate will be responsible for system installations, upgrades, configurations, hardware installation, and troubleshooting. Candidate will ultimately support the operations center for successful sustainment operations. Candidate must be willing to travel when required.
