Applicant must have 3 years of relevant experience with the following:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Considerable experience in customer support, including problem definition and resolution for both network hardware and software.
  • Considerable experience with Cisco router and switches and Aruba wireless technologies.
  • Considerable experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools..
  • Considerable knowledge and experience configuring DNS and DHCP.
  • Demonstrated In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF).
  • Considerable experience administering campus/organization LAN/WAN environment, including wireless access points.
  • Demonstrated hands-on network troubleshooting experience.
  • . A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
  • 2-5 years experience administering Cisco and Aruba campus/organization LAN/WAN environment.
  • Technical knowledge of current network technologies, protocols, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct research related to networking issues and products as required.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to present technical information in a user-friendly manner.
  • Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS) - Mist is a plus
  • Solid background in network administration and architecture.
  • Experience with access control models and network security.
  • VoIP, Mitel and experience building call patterns preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP preferred.
