Job Summary – Looking for Network Engineer with 6+ yrs of exp who is ready to work from client place.
Technical Skills
Strong experience with network environments (e.g. LAN, WAN, Wireless, routing, switching). Strong experience in LAN design. Strong experience with implementation, problem analysis and triage of infrastructure and business application environments.
Experience in Firewall, IDS, Call Manager, VoIP, load balancer and QOS is preferred.
Must have a strong background with TCP/IP and related protocols such as BGP, OSPF, DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, POP3, and SNMP; and networking products such as Ethernet hubs and switches, IP routers and firewalls, analog modems, ISDN equipment and services, IPL/ATM/MPLS circuits.
Exhibits a high level of initiative and integrity. Strong problem solving, priority setting, and collaboration skills. Good organizational and analytical skills. Possess creative ability, consulting skills, leadership qualities, credibility and self-confidence.
Experience and solid understanding of data network systems, routing and layer 2 protocols.
Relevant working experience on HP Networking (ProCurve and 3COM), A12500, Checkpoint, Fluke OptiView XG, Survey PRO, Spectrum XT, and AirMagnet AME, HP IMC, Meraki, BlueCat, and Nortel product is a plus.
Knowledge of Server administration in a large environment.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, cookies, authentication, virus scanning, web servers, SSL/encryption and reporting packages.
An understanding of a wide array of server grade applications to include Exchange, DNS, SMTP, IIS, Apache, SharePoint, Active Directory, Identity Management, Patch Management, LDAP, SQL, and others.
Experience of VPN technologies like IPSec protocol and implementation on routers and firewalls.
Design and implement complex data and voice systems, network configurations, business continuity, disaster recovery and integration of technologies.
Network Engineer- Provides vulnerability management and remediation for MFG Network. Creates and implements firewall rule requests.
