Responsibilities
Thoroughly evaluate and authenticate loan applications for precision and completeness
Assess the creditworthiness and risk levels of applicants
Review financial statements, credit reports, and other pertinent financial documents
Conduct comprehensive cash flow analysis and equity research
Ensure adherence to company protocols and regulatory standards
Collaborate closely with loan processors and officers to streamline the underwriting process
Experience
The successful applicant should demonstrate:
Proficiency in mathematics, quantitative analysis, and technical accounting
Prior experience in loan origination and underwriting
Sound knowledge of cash flow analysis and equity research methodologies
Familiarity with regulations and guidelines within the mortgage industry
