Mobile Phlebotomy Lead Opportunity:
TalentWell is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomy Team Lead for a rapidly growing, Texas-based, clinical laboratory company with a lab in the Irving, TX area. This position will lead a mobile phlebotomy team (route/stat) in and around the DFW Territory. This company offers laboratory testing and mobile phlebotomy services to long-term care and home care facilities/patients across Texas.
Reliable personal transportation, an Active Driver's License ,and Vehicle Insurance are required for this role.

- Full-time, permanent position
- Schedule: Monday-Friday Day Shift
- Schedule flexibility to cover staffing, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
- Pay: $48,000/year + plus mileage reimbursement of $0.47/mile, cell phone reimbursement of $600 annually paid biweekly and quarterly bonus opportunities based on team KPIs (Potential of up to $1k)

Mobile Phlebotomy Lead Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain a daily phlebotomy route while acting as a primary contact for an assigned team of phlebotomists.
- Primarily responsible for ensuring excellence in service and specimen quality, as well as for communicating updates to their assigned team and feedback from the team to the Phlebotomy Manager.
- Assist with the management of a defined team of mobile phlebotomists, reporting directly to the Team Manager.
- Ensure all team members deliver samples within stability to the lab in a timely manner and with complete, accurate paperwork.
- Ensure all team members correctly submit time and mileage for payroll.
- Assist with overall route scheduling in conjunction with the Manager.
- Assist the Manager with scheduling of STAT and weekend draws on a rotating basis.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding ,and training of new team members.
- Collaborate with Phlebotomy Manager on maintaining and improving phlebotomy training materials.
- Provide ongoing training and support for phlebotomists and promote company values.
- Perform regular skills assessments for each team member.
- Monitor team metrics and create tracking reports.
- Maintain daily contact with phlebotomists, acting as the first point of contact for questions, service issues ,and feedback.
- Assist with all correction and missing information requests from Laboratory and Billing teams.
- Provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed.
- Be a friendly, helpful ,and knowledgeable face of the company laboratory services.
- Other job-related duties as assigned by the Manager
Mobile Phlebotomy Lead Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 1+ years of mobile phlebotomy experience
- Previous experience as a phlebotomy team lead or supervisor is preferred
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of Nursing Home, Assisted Living ,and Home Health operations and logistics of maintaining a smooth phlebotomy program.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
- Can-do work ethic, positive attitude ,and ability to independently resolve problems.
