MIS Foregut General Surgeon in Marietta, GA Wellstar Health System

Facility: Wellstar General Surgery - Marietta

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a fellowship trained MIS, foregut General Surgeon to join our established, elective general surgery group in Marietta, GA.

• Practice is comprised of general surgeons, colon and rectal surgeons, an endrocrine surgeon, surgical oncologists and advanced practice providers.
• Physician will practice at one office location but operate at Kennestone Hospital in the main OR as well as have the opportunity to operate in various ASC's.
• No ED call, practice call only, which will be roughly between 1:10 - 1:12.
• Ideal candidates will be fellowship MIS fellowship trained and interested in complex abdominal wall reconstruction, foregut, bread and butter general surgery, hernia repair, and strong interest in robotics.
• Candidates must be willing and interested in working in a very busy hospital and semi-academic environment.
• Candidates must be willing to grow a busy elective practice in the Marietta community, must have excellent bedside manner, be a great team player, and be looking for a long-term career in a health system, employed hospital setting.
  
  

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital is just under 700 beds, is a level 1 trauma center and the busiest ED in the state. Kennestone has a Trauma Acute Care Surgery service and Hospital Medicine service in house 24/7.
