Chassis/Brakes Engineering Manager- Greensboro, NC - Fully Onsite

Piper Maddox has recently partnered with a respectable electric vehicle business, who is working on a portfolio of commercial vehicles, including, IC/EV/ADAS/Fuel Cell. One of their largest engineering teams, the Pneumatics Brake Division, is currently looking for a manager to lead their mechanical engineering team.

We are looking for someone who is coming from an electrical, mechanical or mechatronics engineering background with:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
• Masters Degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience working within the chassis or brakes, with 5+ years of management experience.
• Extroverted individual, prepared to work with a diverse team.
• Effective communication skills, accountable, and well organized.
• Vendor/Supplier Management Experience.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of 17 direct reports.
• Effectively lead a high preforming team, taking full ownership of the product and accountability on team timelines.
• Actively communicating with your team and leadership on product development and developing your team.
• Hands off role, focused on leading your team to success.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing business with a great working culture, on offer is the following:

• Base Salary: $135,000 – $150,000
• 10% annual Bonus
