Direct placement opportunity with our client who is actively hiring for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support a large scale federal campus in Indian Head, Maryland. The day to day responsibilities will include technical reviews of design packages, preparing technical reports to summarize preventative maintenance status reports, and creation of long-term upgrade budgetary projections.
Must-haves
-Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years experience in Mechanical Design - specifically supporting Federal Industrial Projects
- HVAC System Design
- AutoCAD design/drafting experience
-Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance.
Plusses
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Federal Experience in designing buildings with specific requirements (temperature, humidity, etc.)
