$60,000 - $72,000
Job Summary
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you may be tasked with: designing structures, systems, and other components using Solidworks; creating drawings, CNC files, and Bills of Material (BOMs); reviewing manufacturing safety analyses and process implementation documentation; completing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs); participating in new product development meetings and working collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
PROJECT LOCATION
Onsite - Mitchell, SD
Upon project completion (TBD), transition to onsite in our Sioux Falls, SD Applied Engineering Office

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
- 3D CAD modeling proficiency required; Solidworks experience preferred
- Hands-on mechanical experience, personal or professional, preferred
- 1+ year of professional 3D CAD modeling experience preferred
- Experience in automotive or agriculture industries a plus
- Capable of working independently and as a team member
- Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
- Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Desire to work on a variety of projects
