Key Responsibilities:
Demand Planning and Inventory Management:

Demand Planning and Inventory Management:
- Develop and maintain an inventory plan based on sales forecasts, production schedules, and historical usage
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and ingredients to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent production delays
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to place orders for raw materials promptly
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement of materials
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
- Work with the production team to create and adjust production schedules based on material availability
- Ensure that all materials are delivered to the production floor in the correct quantities and at the appropriate times
- Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand or production capacity
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and deliveries using the company’s ERP or MRP system. - Generate reports on inventory status, order fulfillment, and production efficiency
- Analyze data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement. Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning processes and reduce costs
- Implement best practices for inventory management and procurement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve overall supply chain efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or procurement, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills:
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP)
- Office and production floor environments
- Occasional travel to supplier sites or other company facilities
