Job Details

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Master Scheduler to join our Engineering team. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our project schedules, production planning, and customer communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in master scheduling, planning, and the use of Epicor software. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a central role in our fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, where innovation and continuous improvement are our guiding principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules, including all administrative tasks and sites involved in the project lifecycle.
• Utilize Epicor software for planning and scheduling purposes, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely project execution.
• Coordinate with various departments including production, engineering, and sales to ensure project schedules align with company objectives.
• Effectively communicate project expectations and timelines to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with customers, managing their expectations and ensuring clear and consistent communication.
• Identify and manage potential scheduling problems and devise contingency plans to ensure project timelines are met.
• Regularly review and analyze the efficiency of the scheduling process, suggesting improvements where necessary.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the production process, assisting in capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Participate in production meetings, providing detailed reports on project schedules, progress and potential obstacles.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a master scheduling role within the engineering industry.
• Expert in the use of Epicor software for planning and scheduling.
• Proven experience in customer communications, with a strong focus on maintaining customer relationships and managing expectations.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and devise effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable plans.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
