Our client is currently seeking a Master Scheduler for their rapidly growing business operations in Greenville SC. This company recently came under new ownership & is currently expanding at an exponential rate!! They are tripling / quadrupling their business right now. They are in need of an experienced Master Planner / Scheduler to join them. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of goods by developing and maintaining production schedules, job routings, and burden maintenance. The Manufacturing Production Scheduler will collaborate with various departments to optimize resource utilization, minimize lead times, and enhance overall production efficiency.
This person will also lead and grow out the department by hiring planners, schedulers and supply chain analysts on their way to becoming the Demand Planning Manager for the company. This is a pipeline growth position into Management.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules to meet customer demand and production targets.
Collaborate with production teams, supply chain, and other relevant departments to gather information on production capacity, material availability, and resource constraints.
Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement in the production process.
Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production.
Optimize production schedules to maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce overall lead times.
Communicate production schedules to relevant stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production schedules, identifying, and addressing deviations from the plan.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
Continuously evaluate and improve production scheduling processes to enhance overall productivity.
Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends to implement relevant improvements in production scheduling.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of proven experience as a Production Scheduler / Planner in Manufacturing
Solid Proficiency with ERP / MRP Systems
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
CPIM or other Certifications preferred
