Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day, you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability. You will also showcase your expertise by releasing manufacturing work orders.The work model for the role is: onsite (Li-Onsite) This role is contributing to the Electrification Installation Products division in Ormond Beach, FL. You will be mainly accountable for:-Creating and maintaining a detailed production schedule from the production plan.-Executing daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules.-Establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan.-Monitoring schedule adherence, identifying key root causes for deviation, and taking follow-up improvement action.

Qualifications For The Role

  • -Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field / Or minimum of 5 years in an MRP environment in scheduling / planning / production control
  • -Proven experience in production scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment and proficiency in using scheduling software and ERP systems.
  • -Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • -Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
