Kelly Engineering is seeking a dedicated Process Engineer for a direct hire opportunity. Join our dynamic team and contribute to the launch and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes. As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in driving manufacturing process engineering activities, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity across our operations.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Support Manufacturing Process Engineering:
  • Oversee and improve final assembly manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address quality concerns.
  • Process Development and Improvement:
  • Apply engineering principles to establish and refine manufacturing processes.
  • Create and maintain process and instruction sheets supporting quality methods.
  • Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis:
  • Analyze scrap root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead efforts to resolve assembly-related concerns and implement lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Compliance and Standards:
  • Ensure compliance with plant, corporate, governmental, and environmental standards.
  • Support ISO 14001 compliance and conduct internal ISO audits.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of related experience.
  • Flexibility: Ability to support any shift in a 7-day work pattern.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel significantly during the initial plant start-up phase.
  • Skills: Demonstrated leadership behaviors with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.


Preferred Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Experience:
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in 8D and 5Why corrective action and problem-solving techniques.
  • Familiarity with Lean Tools such as 5S, Kanban, Poka-yoke, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Knowledge of TQM and Kaizen methods.
  • Experience with FMEA, PPAP, and DOEs.
  • Expertise in Visual Factory Management and ergonomic analysis.
