We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the development and implementation of new products, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the overall efficiency of our manufacturing processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including robotics and PLC systems, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
Implement new product introductions and process enhancements, considering cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in efficiency, quality, and safety across all manufacturing operations.
Collaborate with design engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Utilize PLC systems for process control and automation, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Apply your knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems to optimize our manufacturing processes.
Work with robotics, preferably Fanuc, to enhance the production line and increase productivity.
Provide technical support and training to production staff to ensure a clear understanding of process changes and new product introductions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing process engineering role.
Proven experience with new product introductions and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with PLC systems is highly desirable.
Exposure to robotics, particularly Fanuc, would be a significant advantage.
Strong understanding of electrical or mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology.
