The Planner duties include works closely with Planning/Production to provide work orders/schedules (APS) of planned production, stock orders, performs order follow-up/expediting, work order/schedule reconciliation, performs in all scheduled physical inventories as assigned. Communicates order status, issues, and recommendations with customer service & shipping.

This role will be a member of the Sensorex Operations Team therefore, joining forces daily with Operations, Sales & Marketing and Finance, and is expected to significantly contribute to the operational performance of the company.

Key responsibilities:

• Using open order reports & Great Plains review scheduled product demand to validate material requirements vs stock & open purchase orders
• Initiate and schedule (Advance production planning) work orders for production demand and stock
• Purchasing support in identifying and planning materials and components needs
• Management of the inventory levels from materials and components to finished goods through the whole plant.
• Expedite material needs as required
• Identify production priorities vs demand to schedule efficiently with Shift Supervisors, Leads
• Analyze logistics flows in the whole plant and between plants in Garden Grove and Czech Republic
• Coordinate the material and goods flows between plants in Garden Grove and Czech Republic
• Identify and communicate priority or demand conflicts with Customer Service & Production Manager
• Monitor production progress versus schedule, identify delays, recommend alternatives, give feedback in production
• Assist & support Production/Inventory Control when requested
• Work closely with manufacturing supervisors and work center leads as required
• Assist in all scheduled physical inventories
• Assist management in production processing & inventory control projects
• Will be responsible for daily creation and sending the overview of deliveries to be sent to dispatch area
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Maintain accurate communication records, which will include email history, support documentation, drawings as well as samples and photo documentation if required
