Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control’s (MFC) Pike County Operations site in Troy, AL is a multi-shift, manufacturing facility which integrates complex mechanical and electronic assemblies. The facility specializes in both low volume / high mix and high-volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing. Pike County Operations has a manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team.
Responsibilities Include
Planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions in support of a final assembly and test production operation. These activities include maintaining production system integrity, inventory accuracy and driving optimization.
Coordinates with manufacturing, engineering, quality, program, and site Production Planning & Control (PP&C) stakeholders to provide shop floor control on make parts.
Coordinates changes to the BOM and impact to inventory and manufacturing processes with engineering.
