Position: Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor

About the Position: As the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor, you will lead a team in developing and refining new and existing product lines for road construction equipment. From concept to full production, you'll ensure that customer technical and cost requirements are met. Additionally, you'll spearhead cost-effective product improvement strategies and provide mentorship and leadership to the Manufacturing Engineering Department.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in Engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD for 3D solid model designs.
• Familiarity with industry regulations to ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• In-depth understanding of one or more engineering fields (electrical, software, mechanical).
• Thorough knowledge of plant engineering, industrial engineering, and tooling.
• Hydraulic and diesel knowledge required, control systems and powertrain knowledge a plus.

Deliverables & Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate maintenance, tooling, and engineering activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
• Assess manufacturing process cost-effectiveness and feasibility, implementing recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Oversee plant renovations and expansions, coordinating with outside contractors and vendors.
• Develop and implement factory master plans and capital investments to meet future market demand.
• Introduce progressive automation and new technology to enhance processes, product quality, and efficiency.
• Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team, providing guidance, mentoring, and training.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the manufacturing engineering budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control.
• Provide technical support to resolve complex manufacturing issues and optimize production output.

Supervisor and Leadership Expectations:

• Supervise a team of Manufacturing Engineers specializing in fabrication or assembly.
