Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer 5 - Hybrid
Location: Mossville, IL
Duration: 24 months
Position’s Contributions To Work Group
APQP, assembly line, quality supplier management
Aluminum manufacturing process, Casting mfg, machining

Job Responsibilities
Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.
Review worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
Review and approve work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
Review charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
Evaluate data and reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Recommend revision to methods of operation, material handling, equipment layout, or other changes to increase production or improve standards.
Location: Mossville, IL

Position’s Contributions To Work Group
- Develop quality parts from source of supply for electronic components
- Manage timeline for new product introductions at suppliers
- Typical task breakdown:
- Collaborate with engineering to understand requirements
- Collaborate with suppliers to explain requirements
- Request for quotes and Negotiate costs
- Develop quality of parts via APQP
- Interaction with team:
- Deep interaction with engineering and buyers
- Education & Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience on manufacturing industry
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
