Manufacturing Engineer

What You Will Do

At Volvo as a Manufacturing Engineer you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.

You will lead industrialization of new circular products into our factory & improve the current end to end flows pending your interests and areas of expertise.

Lead the industrialization of new products

Support the implementation of product design changes

Develop solutions for production problems relating to materials, processes and/or tooling through utilization of our lean manufacturing methodology.

Continuously improve our Line Balancing through utilization of our lean manufacturing methodology.

Act as liaison between Engineering, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, Logistics and Production.

Are your the right candidate?

You have the ability to perform high-level problem solving using classical root causes analysis tools (5Y, 5W1H, 4M, etc.)

You are used to planning, identify risk & mitigations plans. You know that you will have to adjust your planning as your project evolves.

You are used to cross-functional communication, from operators on the shopfloor to mechanics to higher management.

You have successful experience as an industrial or process or logistics or quality engineering and/or project manager within a manufacturing setting.

You have embraced digitalization and can demonstrate how you use digital tools for better usage of your time, traceability & smarter data analysis.
