Job Title: Manufacturing Controller

Location: Grand Prairie, TX (75050)

Salary: Starting at $130K

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Manufacturing Controller to join our client's team in Grand Prairie, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with extensive experience in manufacturing or distribution environments. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide leadership and ensure the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely financial and cash flow reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP
• Manage cash flow and oversee cash management processes
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with internal and external standards
• Develop and maintain accounting schedules
• Oversee the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day financial activities
• Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff
• Execute the full cycle month-end close process
• Implement and manage job cost accounting
• Manage accrual processes
• Participate in budget and forecasting activities
• Utilize strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification

Minimum Candidate Experience:

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting and finance
• 5+ years of management experience
• 2+ years of experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution (inventory) environment

Additional Preferences:

• 3 years of public accounting experience

Skills and Competencies:

• In-depth understanding of GAAP
• Strong cash management skills
• Proficiency in audit processes
• Ability to develop and maintain detailed accounting schedules
• Proven leadership capabilities to manage and motivate accounting staff
• Exceptional Excel skills for advanced financial analysis
• Expertise in job cost accounting and full cycle month-end close processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
