About The Role
We are seeking a motivated professional with a passion for solving pressing client challenges and improving operations within the Medicaid sector. As a Managing Consultant, you will engage in diverse projects that align with your skills and interests. These projects include providing technical assistance to federal and state agencies, facilitating learning collaboratives, and conducting research and analysis to enhance Medicaid programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead or support complex projects focused on Medicaid policy, oversight, and program operations.
Develop and maintain project schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.
Collaborate with federal, state, and other clients to implement quality improvement strategies based on data insights.
Plan and execute webinars and discussions with government and healthcare stakeholders.
Author technical documents such as memos, implementation guides, and webinar materials.
Ensure project timelines, budgets, and communications meet stakeholder expectations.
Position Requirements
Master's degree in public policy, public health, or related fields; or equivalent experience.
Five or more years managing projects in healthcare or health policy.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytic abilities, including financial analysis and policy implementation.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience With Agile Project Management Tools And Techniques Preferred.
Familiarity with Medicaid or Health Insurance Marketplace is advantageous.
