Manager, Sourcing and Development

The Manager of Sourcing and Development is responsible for executing product development and efficient sourcing processes to deliver high value construction finish products that will be installed in our homes. The Manager of Sourcing and Development will negotiate with suppliers to obtain goods, materials, and services at the best prices by using strategic sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge of the industry. Work with legal counsel to ensure that all contracts relating to product procurement contain all details of the negotiation. Ensure all Vendor Files and Product Data in Web Enabled Product Information Management (PIM) Database is accurate.

To qualify, a bachelor’s degree in administration, logistics, supply chain or related field is required. A minimum of 5 years proven experience in sourcing processes from overseas and domestic suppliers, building relationships with manufacturers, buying agents, inspection and testing services. Experience in a wide range of consumer products such as case goods, lighting and plumbing finish items in a manufacturing, retail or distribution environment is preferred. Strong negotiation skills. Sound time-management and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
