All about the role:


Are you a skilled professional with a passion for safeguarding critical IT infrastructure? We invite you to step into the pivotal role of a Disaster Recovery and Major Incident Analyst, where your expertise will be the driving force behind the development and execution of cutting-edge disaster recovery strategies.

As our Disaster Recovery and Major Incident Analyst, you will spearhead the creation and implementation of robust disaster recovery plans. Your mission extends beyond paper – you'll be on the frontline, orchestrating the response to major incidents, ensuring the swift resolution that keeps our IT infrastructure resilient and stable.


What you’ll do:


  • Analyze and manage major incidents to minimize the impact on business operations.
  • Document all incidents, including root cause analysis and preventative measures.
  • You will also work with the IT and business stakeholders to ensure that disaster recovery plans are in place.
  • You will also help to build and coordinate disaster recovery test plans
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on disaster recovery procedures and incident management.
  • Monitor compliance with disaster recovery plans and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare reports on incident trends and disaster recovery readiness.


Qualifications required:


  • Associate degree in IT, engineering or related technical field. Bachelor preferred.
  • Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and incident management.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, data centers, and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance procedures.
