Job Summary
As a Logistics Lead, you will oversee and manage all aspects of our logistics and supply chain activities. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods, timely deliveries, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
Schedule: Monday - Friday (morning shift hours may vary based on shipments/company demands) usually 7 am - 4 pm

Responsibilities
Cross-Docking Operations:
Oversee day-to-day cross-docking operations for window covering products.
Manage unloading, sorting, palletizing, and ensuring damage-free ship-out.
Supervision:
Supervise all delivery and warehouse personnel, providing coaching and instruction in correct processes.
Manage driver teams on delivery days, communicating with drivers to address any delays or problems and assist with problem-solving.
Logistics Management:
Manage unloading of containers/deliveries, staging for redistribution, and loading for outbound shipments.
Determine delivery methods, create driver logs, and resolve issues with scanning shipments.
Staffing and Scheduling:
Ensure optimal staffing and scheduling for warehouse operations.
Establish and maintain the warehouse schedule, determine staffing needs, and communicate with staffing agencies.
Performance Management:
Approve timecards for the team and manage/approve overtime as needed.
Utilize resources and metrics to determine workload volume and help measure team performance.
Work with management to adjust training as needed.
Meetings and Improvement:
Attend weekly staff meetings and offer suggestions for improvements in team, SOP, or technology that will increase overall efficiency.
Incident Management:
Respond to and manage follow-up for incidents or accidents in the warehouse or in the field.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Direct the daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Additional Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned by managers.
Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years experience in managing warehouse and logistics.
Skills:
Disciplined with attention to detail.
Team-focused with strong leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
Basic math and analytical skills.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment (preferred).
Bi-Lingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.
