This position requires overtime hours, as needed, in times of increased workload. Responsibilities:

  • Laser weld a wide array of orthodontic appliances
  • Solder when needed
  • Polish and finish when needed
  • Follow detailed and complex directions closely
  • Problem solve as needed
  • Know when to ask for assistance and when to independently make decisions
  • ‪Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Use hand tools (pliers, rotary grinders/polishers, etc.)
  • Work in a stationary position for several hours at a time
  • Use hands and fingers to manipulate materials for several hours at a time
  • ‪Exhibit great hand-eye coordination

Qualifications:

  • ‪Detail-oriented
  • ‪Great work ethic
  • ‪Extraordinary time management skills
  • ‪MUST have a positive attitude and work well with others

Physical Requirements:

  • ‪Be able to sit or stand in one position for long periods of time - up to 8 hours
  • ‪Use hand tools and have excellent hand-eye coordination for long periods of time
  • Manipulate foot pedal to operate laser for welding purposes for up to 8 hours
  • ‪Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • ‪Use microscope in conjunction with hands during welding processes
  • Walk about the lab to transport case to different departments
