AAC (Advanced Automation Corporation) has immediate openings for Language Resource Program Coordinators in support of a Government client. The Language Resource Program Coordinator shall provide administrative and coordination support services for NCS Center for Language and Area Studies (CLAAS) and NSA/CSS Senior Language Authority (SLA) language resource initiatives. Provide support to other language resource programs involving open source, commercially available and Government developed, unique materials needed by NSA/CSS language professionals to improve and maintain language proficiency, especially in the operationally critical less commonly taught languages.
This position may be filled at multiple different levels, based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
- Respond to requests from customers throughout the federal Government for language materials;
- Conduct open source research for requested materials;
- Order shipping materials to facilitate the packaging of books and CDs;
- Maintain an on-site reference library for customer viewing and loan;
- Process and distribute commercial language resource materials requested by language professionals worldwide;
- Assist with ordering and delivering language related publications;
- Track and report on number of materials requested and delivered each quarter;
- Maintain and update database housing historical statistical information;
- Track commercial materials' expenditures to ensure funding allocations are not exceeded;
- File and archive soft copies and hard copies of testing, training, and other language materials;
- Sort and organize audio and graphic language material;
- Download new materials, edit and digitize audio materials;
- Download new materials, scan graphic samples (in an OCR format) and edit graphic material into other document formats;
- Transfer language files and documentation from CDs and other media to internal computer systems following approved processes;
- Organize and coordinate testing and training documentation, to include maintaining spreadsheets;
- Distribute testing and training materials;
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent;
- Two (2) years experience working in a professional or academic environment;
- Two (2) years experience working in customer service and data/information management, as part of a team
- One (1) year experience drafting and following standard operating procedures and checklists, and communicating with colleagues and customers via written correspondence.
- Experience working with foreign languages or in a multi-cultural environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Level 1, Excel Level 1, PowerPoint Level 1 and Word Level 1
- B.A./B.S. degree in Language related, Business, Management or a related field (Level 1 position). or Associates of Arts Degree in Language, Language-related, International Studies, Education, Area Studies, Business, or Management (Level 0 position);
- Five (5) years experience working in a language-focused work or training environment, with primary duties involving use of multiple languages in written and oral forms;
- In lieu of the AA, two (2) additional years of directly related, applied, practical work experience for a total of seven (7) years experience may be substituted;
- Foreign language skill of Listening 2/Reading 2 or higher, as defined by the Interagency Language Roundtable, documented within the last ten (10) years;
- Three (3) years work experience in any of the following: SIGINT, military intelligence, Intelligence Community Operations
- One (1) year experience using digital audio tools such as Audacity or Sound Forge
