• HR Director Description The Maintenance and Installation Laborer performs general labor tasks including loading/unloading, lifting, and moving materials in an outdoor environment in all types of weather conditions. Specifically, those tasks associated with the routine maintenance of commercial and residential lawns (i.e. mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, etc.). May also assist in a variety of manual labor tasks as required by Supervisor or Crew Leader. Requirements The Maintenance and Installation Laborer is familiar with the safety and operation of the following equipment: Mowers - riding, zero turn, walk-behind, & push. Hand Tools - rakes, shovels, & pruners. Backpack blower & sprayer, string trimmer, hard edgers
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly, and frequently. Ability to work with others and under supervision Able to follow oral and/or written instructions from Supervisor or Crew Leader Able to operate all maintenance equipment safely and proficiently Able to work with environmental risks ( in heat/cold, bees, poison oak/ivy, etc.) Must comply with NCTC policies and procedures Must comply with safety regulations and wear company-provided eye and ear protection as required Must report equipment problems and failures to Supervisor immediately Must prepare assigned equipment for upcoming daily use Must always conduct self in a professional manner Valid Driver's license preferred but not required.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of ONE (1) year of experience with a commercial landscaping company is preferred, but we will train the right individual. North Carolina Turf Care offers the following
