Job Description

We are looking for a Graphic Designer and Video Editor to join our Digital/Brand team. Someone who wants to stretch their creative muscles on a range of digital mediums to create engaging content for social media platforms, adores cross-functional communication and teamwork, and who understands that building a great brand is no small feat (and is into that challenge).


Scope

This position will collaborate with our brand and marketing team on all kinds of video and design needs. Focusing on the social-end of the spectrum to support: paid and organic social, which can include filming, editing and integrating typography/graphics into stills and video content.

Based in the Bay Area, or Inclined to Move..

Our HQ, and thus this role, are based in our hometown of San Francisco, CA. Our team meets onsite weekly, and we’d love you to join us.

A lot of people say they want to work at a start-up; not as many people really know what that means. Here it means we all work very hard, we believe deeply in the future of this company, and we all do a bit of everything. Our employees possess the ability to multitask in a deadline driven start-up environment and have an appetite to learn.


Fine Print: (we ask that you have the following)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 yrs experience in video editing and graphic design, bonus points if it was for a retail brand
  • Mastery in Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, Premiere, After Effects, Canva, Figma and Final Cut Pro
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with other teams
  • Proficient in designing and producing digital assets for social media posts, ads and stories for instagram, facebook and tiktok.
  • Proficient in image manipulation (cropping, clipping, making gifs, retouching)
  • Experience with making and editing UGC style videos
  • Optimize content for different social media platforms to maximize engagement and reach
