About the Role:

This is a full-time remote role. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Broker to join our team specializing in wholesale professional liability insurance. The successful candidate will assist in brokering complex insurance policies for professional clients, working closely with senior brokers and underwriters to ensure comprehensive coverage and excellent client service. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships, negotiating policies, and ensuring the best coverage for clients. Duties include:

• Collaborate with underwriters, agents, and other stakeholders to streamline processes.
• Quoting and binding policies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships and seek opportunities for growth and cultivate new markets and renewal business.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
• Follow submissions, quotes, and all administrative processes in a timely manner.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Proven experience brokering/underwriting within the Wholesale or MGA space.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of professional liability insurance including coverages, rating, terminology, and technical procedures.
• Requires a valid insurance license (P&C license / E&S license); must continue to meet requirements for license renewal.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels while following all policies, procedures, and regulations.

Compensation & Benefits:

Annual Salary: 55k - 65k depending on experience.
